SC Wildlife Rehabilitation
Wildlife rehabilitation is an important part of maintaining wildlife for future generations. SC needs more people to volunteer and become wildlife Rehabilitators. I’m Darla Wynne and I’ve been doing wildlife rehabilitation all my life. I love working with wildlife. It’s extremely rewarding on a personal level, but can be heart breaking as well. The cruelty that humans inflict upon wildlife is truly sad. As humans we can’t take away the memories of the bad people, but we can create change by healing, caring, releasing and at times providing hospice care to those that are dying. There is a shortage of wild life rehabilitators . If you have ever thought about helping wildlife please consider contacting SCDNR and becoming a registered wildlife rehabilitator. Understand and know, there is no money to be made from this endeavor. On very rare occasions you will receive a few dollars to aid the animal someone has brought you, this is not a profit field, so lose any ideals you have on making money in this field.
This website is dedicated to all the beautiful creatures that have touched my life and changed me for the better forever. Im going to hopefully share some great information with you so that if you run across an animal and can’t find a rehabilitator to immediately assist you, you will at least have some basic information to aid the animal until it can be received by a rehabilitator . This website is dedicated to all future and new wildlife rehabilitators and the animals in their care. This site will always be evolving with me adding information that has value to the care of wildlife and the rehabilitators.
